After taking the first Belgian Grand Prix of his career last season — sort of, after the race was more-or-less rained out — Verstappen will enter race week as the favorite in Spa once again. No driver needed the summer break more than Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, who has seen a genuine title shot crumble in part due to his team's repeated incompetence and in part due to his own mistakes.
