Italian jewelers provided big, bold looks for Cardi B., Alicia Keys, Demi Lovato, and other stars during the 62nd annual Grammy Awards
Staples Center. The one jeweler that may have stolen the show was Gismondi 1754 that helped finish the look of a number of stars, including Cardi B, Alicia Keys and Demi Lovato.
Cardi B. had one of the most spectacular looks of the evening which was enhanced by an equally spectacular $5 million worth of Gismondi diamond jewels. The centerpiece was a custom-made, two-part “Goddess” necklace from the Genoa, Italy-based brand. Gismondi teamed with Casey Cadwallader, creative director of the Mugler fashion house, which designed her dress, and Kollin Carter, Cardi B.’s stylist, to create the necklace to match her look.
Keys hosted the event wearing a Gismondi 1754 white gold necklace featuring 35 carats of pear-shaped yellow diamonds and 12 carats of white diamonds.Demi Lovato, in her first performance since 2018 wore Gismondi 1754 18k white gold earrings with 26 carats of pear-shaped white diamonds; and two 18k white gold rings, one centered with a 52-carat Amber-cut diamond and the other featuring a 20-carat tear-shaped diamond.
Bulgari dressed the men for the event in watches and jewels, including Diplo, Shawn Mendes and Joe Jonas.Grammy award-winning DJ, Diplo, wore heritage Bulgari, including a 1961 convertible necklace that features 108 carats of colored stones and diamonds set in gold and platinum. He added two Serpenti rings in white gold, diamonds and gemstones.
