So, after looking at all the options and not wishing to change batteries, I opted for this solar-powered unit. It was a few dollars more, but it seems to be a well-designed unit. And, no changing dead batteries! I had it up and running in minutes. I used the included stainless-steel screws to attach it to a utility pole near our driveway. The device is pointed across the clearing of about forty feet where our driveway comes onto the property.
