BEAUFORT: A total of RM1.6 million had been allocated by the State government for the construction of the first phase of the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) houses in Lumadan this year, involving 20 units for the poor.
Lumadan Assemblyman, Datuk Ruslan Muharam, said the allocation for each house is different and approximately RM80,000 to RM85,000 per unit based on the location and suitability of the site.“The construction is carried out in stages based on the appointment of contractors by the District Office and the construction of four houses had already started.
