Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is responding to a reported shooting in Fort Caroline Road.

JACKOSNVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating after two young men were found dead inside an Arlington apartment.According to detectives, at around 6:30 a.m., officers responded to Caroline Square and found two men dead inside an apartment with gunshot wounds. The suspect had already fled from the scene.

Police tracked the suspect’s vehicle to Broward Road at Lem Turner Boulevard and attempted a traffic stop, but the suspect exited the car and ran into the woods. Police set a parameter and the K9 units deployed and able to apprehend him. The suspect was then transported to a local hospital for treatment he got from the K9 bites.
