Two women were killed in two separate shootouts that occurred in Philadelphia early Thursday morning.
The first shooting occurred at the intersection of South 53rd Street and Woodland Avenue in southwest Philadelphia around 1 a.m., police said.
The woman was wounded twice and died while being taken to a hospital in a private vehicle, officials told the news outlet. A 26-year-old woman and her friend were walking into an apartment building when two men approached them, brandished a gun, and tried to rob them, police said.
