The pilot and a passenger died Thursday afternoon when a small plane crashed into a neighborhood.
Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck on Saturday identified the two victims in Thursday evening’s plane crash into a neighborhood in the northern part of the county.into the roadway at Victoria and Brittany lanes in Hilltown Township, according to township police.
Both died of multiple blunt injuries, and their deaths were ruled accidental, Buck said in a news release. No on the ground was injured, and investigators credited the pilot with avoiding houses and the nearby Pennridge Central Middle School. Witnesses reported seeing and hearing the plane struggle to remain airborne, police said, noting the crash was caught on several nearby homes’ security cameras.
