The congressman said his two daughters were home doing homework when they heard the gunshots and called 911.
At one point, he says, they were so close, they were right underneath his porch. In incident marks the second scare Zeldin,Zeldin was not home at the time, but his daughters were. The entire family is okay, but two people who were shot and found on his property, leaving many unanswered questions.
"The two of them were at the kitchen table doing homework and they hear gunshots. One of the bullets was actually found about 30 feet from where they were sitting," Zeldin said. Suffolk County police quickly responded to the home on Saint George Drive. Once there, Zeldin checked his security cameras. He said he saw three people on his property who he believes were together. One was walking around, and two who were shot and lying near his porch.The neighbor didn't want to show her face, for safety.
