SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio - Two teenagers were killed in a house fire in Coventry Township early Wednesday morning.
Chief Rockich said the adult victim woke up to smoke and flames around 3 a.m. and managed to get outside and call 911, but the teenagers were trapped inside the home. According to Chief Rockich, the female victim was found in the upstairs hallway and the male victim was found in a back bedroom on the first floor.Their names have not been released, but they were students at Coventry Local Schools.We are deeply saddened by the tragic news that two of our beloved Comets lost their lives in a house fire overnight.
