2 teenagers shot after gun goes off in south Houston apartment, police say
were dispatched around 9:45 p.m. to an apartment in the 2700 block of Reed in regards to a shooting, Lt. Larry Crowson said. Officers entered the residence and found a 14-year-old with a gunshot wound to the foot, and a 15-year-old with a grazed wound to the leg, he said.
Houston police are investigating after two teenagers were shot in the lower body Friday night when a gun went off in an apartment.A 20-year-old man, who was in the apartment with the two teenagers at the time of the shooting, told police he found a gun in a parking lot earlier that day, according to Crowson. The man added how he and the teenagers had gone to a room in the residence to examine the firearm when it discharged.
"Once we talk to them we'll contact the district attorney to see if there will be any charges," Crowson said.
