Two suspects have been identified in a case of property damage by gunfire in Troy.
In the early morning hours of Sept. 22, Troy police were called to the 1000 block of Park Street to disperse a large crowd. While officers were doing so, several shots were fired, causing damage to both a vehicle and a residence. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
Two men have been charged in connection to the incident. Erik Dame’Ir McClain, 20, of Andalusia, and Karee Mykell Dorsey, 23, of Opp, both face charges of shooting into an occupied/unoccupied dwelling or vehicle, with bond set at $150,000.Dorsey is currently held at the Covington County Jail on an unrelated charges and will be extradited to Troy to face these new charges when he is released.
