At least two victims, ages unknown, were reported near the intersection of Olympic and Rimpau boulevards around 4:20 p.m.The students were taken to a hospital, both in stable condition. LAPD and L.A. Unified School District police blocked the roadway in the area along the school’s southwest corner for their investigation.In a statement“All of our students deserve to go to school free of fear and full of hope,” Carvalho said. “We must work together to continue to provide safe passages to and from school.”
Los Angeles High School has a rich history in L.A. Unified and sits at the southern end of Hancock Park, one of the wealthiest enclaves in Los Angeles, although most of its students are not residents of the affluent area.
