Two Utah sisters worked together for about a month in “The QR Hunt.” They’re the first all-female team to win. The sisters plan to give the money to charity foundations that are meaningful to them.
Both Native American, the Wolfe sisters said they plan to “pay it forward” and give the money to organizations whose work supports Indigenous people, mental health, reproductive rights and the LGBTQ community.
But the best part of the experience was teaming up with her sister during a difficult period in their lives, she said. The two had fallen into a “slump” after their best friend died last year, and both were dealing with depression. “It was really cool to open that chest and see all the money, but it was a lot cooler to be able to do it with my sister,” she said.
