The Powerball jackpot has climbed to an estimated $54 million for Wednesday's lottery drawing.
The pair of lucky third-prize Powerball tickets were sold at the Wawa on Sickerville Road in Sicklerville and the ShopRite on Route 73 in West Berlin, New Jersey lottery officials said.There were no jackpot winners in Monday night’s Powerball drawing pushing the top prize to $54 million for Wednesday.There were no second prize winners nationally and no $50,000 winners sold in New Jersey in last night’s drawing.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers and win at least $1 million, while the odds are 913,129 to 1 to win a third prize of at least $50,000.
