A man and woman were stabbed multiple times in separate incidents in Seattle's Chinatown-International District within 12 hours on Thursday.

A 52-year-old woman was rushed to the hospital in serious condition after she was stabbed eight times in Seattle early Thursday morning.The woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center, SPD said. Detectives are investigating what led to the stabbing. Less than 12 hours later, emergency responders were back in the same area for another stabbing. Responding officers found a man who appeared to be in his 40s with multiple stab wounds. The SPD said the man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition. A department spokesperson told KOMO News it was unknown if the injuries were life-threatening. A K-9 unit was brought out to try and locate any possible suspects, but no arrests have been made in either incident.
