Police said they found a woman, 27 and a man, 79, both dead inside an apartment with a 2-year-old boy alive.
The Chicago Fire Department confirmed the finding in the East Chatham neighborhood.
CPD Deputy Chief Senora Ben said police responded to a wellbeing call at an apartment at the location. They found a 27-year-old woman and a 79-year-old man both dead in the apartment.Ben said the individuals in the apartment were family members and that it was an"isolated incident."Area Two detectives are investigating and interviewing potential witnesses.
