District Attorney Fran Chardo states that the two found dead were victims of a murder-suicide. Lower Paxton Township police identified the victims as 40-year-old Gary Gibson and 33-year-old Alysse Saucedo, who lived at the home. Dauphin County District Attorney, Fran Chardo, states that an investigation revealed that Saucedo shot the unidentified male victim, started the house fire, then shot herself. Police say she was also found with a gunshot wound in her head and was dead for hours before the fire. Lower Paxton Township Police state that Gibson was found with a gunshot wound in his head and was reportedly dead for 24 hours before officials were dispatched to the scene of the fire. Police, along with multiple fire departments, were called to the home at 6524 Fairfax Drive around 10:20a.m. Sunday for reports of a fire with people trapped inside. Firefighters entered the home and found an unresponsive woman, later identified as Saucedo, in a second-floor hallway. She was taken to the front yard, but never regained consciousness, police said. Gibson was found in a second-floor bathroom. Investigators found a handgun registered to Saucedo in the second-floor hallway in the course of their investigation. Her death has been ruled a suicide following a post-mortem examination. Fire officials that investigated the incident say that three fire sources were found inside the home, including combustibles found near the front door, the master bedroom and the bathroom. Police say they combustible areas were on fire for an extended period of time. Four dogs perished in the fire, and another three dogs were found safe outside and taken to the Dauphin County Humane Society.The 14-year-old girl suffered serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital.The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection accused J&K Salvage of violating its order to close the business, according to a new court filing.Two Carlisle High School students went to the Carlisle Area School District's board meeting last week, discussing the school's handling of their club.Route 322 was closed for part of Sunday morning after a crash that reportedly involved a horse and buggy, according to Lancaster County dispatch.Two people and several pets are dead after a house in Lower Paxton Township caught fire Sunday morning, according to an update from police.
