Nick Chubb is the only player in this matchup who does not return at least even money for scoring a touchdown. While this prop is a bit pricey, don’t hesitate to grab it, our analysts say.
The Ravens did the Jets a bit of a favor last week. Baltimore dominated New York in every facet of the game, taking a 24-3 lead into the fourth quarter. As the Ravens coasted to the finish line, the Jets were able to throw the ball into a defense that was looking to keep everything in front of it.
All of this came against what was easily the NFL’s worst pass defense a season ago. Even with Flacco’s late stat-padding, he averaged just 4.8 yards per pass attempt. The Jets’ game plan also has to factor in here. Flacco and 59 pass attempts is not a recipe for success, so expect to a see much more balanced attack from New York this time around. Such a thought is based more on just the law of averages. The Browns allowed the Panthers to complete just 57.1% of their pass attempts last week, and it stands to reason the Jets will want to work away from that strength.
Brissett deferred to the run game last week, throwing for just 138 yards. Still, he was sacked just once and didn’t turn the ball over as Cleveland rushed it 39 times for 217 yards.
