A woman conspired with two men to target a man who had her over his house in Bucks County, the D.A. said Tuesday.
A woman is also facing charges for the violent"honeytrap" home invasion in 2025 where the suspects ransacked a home as they held their victim at gunpoint, the D.A.
's office said Tuesday. Two men were sentenced for their roles in a premeditated"honeytrap" home invasion in Northampton Township that occurred on April 13, 2025, The two men, 26-year-old Sevean Brown and 25-year-old Hassan Ameer Nelson, both of Philadelphia, worked with a third suspect, 27-year-old Daiquan Savage, to target a man Savage had met, Khan said.
Savage visited the man at his home and left at around 2 a.m., but then texted him to say that she left something inside his home. When the victim opened the door, Khan said that the man"was immediately forced to the ground and ambushed" by Brown and Nelson. The two men were wearing all-black clothing, masks and gloves and were brandishing black handguns, Khan said.
Brown and Nelson held a gun to the man's head and told him they would kill him if he did not comply, Khan said. They then held the man at gunpoint as they ransacked his home for about 45 minutes, stealing a luxury watch worth $12,000, a Fossil watch, as well as"vehicle titles; car keys; liquor bottles; the victim's cellphones; and $1,500 transferred from the victim’s account via three unauthorized $500 CashApp transactions," Khan said.
The suspects then fled in a 2015 Ford Taurus with a loud exhaust, which was Nelson's car. Utilizing area cameras, investigators were able to get images of the car and pull it over on Dauphin Street in Philadelphia later the same day.
"During a search of the vehicle and forensic analysis of Nelson’s iPhone, detectives uncovered the stolen property and a loaded Glock 9mm handgun, which was revealed to have been stolen out of Philadelphia in 2022," Khan said. "Police also located a pair of black latex gloves, which matched a torn piece of a latex glove left behind by the suspects in the victim's kitchen.
" Further searching of Nelson's phone found that he had Google searched the victim's address, as well as other incriminating photos and texts, Khan said. The three suspects had a group chat with a “bag of money” emoji that included photos of Savage posing with money, Khan said.
"In the thread, Brown texted photos of Savage posing with the stolen cash outside a location on Sellers Street in Philadelphia," Khan said. "The chat concluded with messages of 'love you bruddas” and “love you more money. ' Brown and Nelson plead guilty to several felonies and misdemeanors and have been sentenced to serve four to eight years in prison. They also have been ordered to not contact their victim and pay $11,400 in restitution.
