A Walker County man suffered multiple gunshot wounds and remains in the hospital after a home invasion at his residence.
Carbon Hill police and Walker County sheriff's deputies responded to a reported home invasion and shooting near Fourth Avenue Northeast and Marlin Jordan Road on May 26, 2022.Two men killed in a reported home invasion in Walker County were both wearing ski masks, authorities said.
The Walker County Coroner’s Office on Friday identified the slain men as Clifton Embry, 47, and Dewayne Turner Jr., also 47. Both were from Talladega County.near Fourth Avenue Northeast and Marlin Jordan Road, according to police. When they arrived, they found Embry and Turner both dead inside the home of 27-year-old Timothy Wright.It was not immediately clear whether the three men were acquainted.
