Albeyro Cabezas and Ethan Pierson were arrested for attempting to run away from officials after they almost ran over a constable deputy in a stolen car.
When they arrived, the officers immediately saw the vehicle and tried to talk with the driver, later identified as Albeyro Cabezas.
Authorities said Cabezas suddenly sped toward one of the deputies and tried to hit them, but they moved out of the way in time. Shortly afterward, a chase ensued until Cabezas lost control of the car and crashed. Cabezas and the passenger, later identified as Ethan Pierson, got out of the vehicle and tried to run. Officials were able to catch up to the two men and detained them.
