CAMP President Quirino, Ilocos Sur – Two persons died in motorcycle accidents in San Vicente and Santiago, this province, on Friday, September 22.
Police identified the victims as Ellaine Mae Aguinaldo Pastor, 28, of Barangay Puspus, Bantay, Ilocos Sur, and Leumark Soliba Abumiawan, 30, of Barangay Villa Quirino, San Esteban, Ilocos Sur.
Pastor was on her way home from a drinking session when she lost control of her motorcycle in Barangay Bayubay, San Vicente and rammed into the concrete fence of a covered court. She died from serious injuries. Abumiawan was reportedly drunk and lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into an electric post in Barangay Dan-ar, Santiago, Ilocos Sur. The victim sustained serious injuries and was declared dead in a hospital.
