The car ran off a Gloucester County roadway near a park.

A motorist and two kids were treated for serious injuries after a car ran off a Gloucester County roadway and struck a utility pole Thursday night, police said.

Sean P. Asman, 31, of Audubon, was driving east on Hurffville Grenloch Road in Washington Township shortly before 6 p.m. when his car left the road and hit the pole near Quay Park, according to township police. Asman and his two juvenile passengers were taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, with serious injuries, police said.

The driver suffered a leg fracture, police said. The children, ages 4 and 9, both suffered arm fractures. Asman was charged with two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of third-degree assault by auto. He was also issued citations for driving while intoxicated and reckless driving.How did Harley die?
