The pair of kayakers were in the ocean, a half-mile off Stone Harbor, authorities said.
Two kayakers were rescued off the coast of Stone Harbor on Sunday, authorities said.
The kayakers were in the ocean about a half-mile off Stone Harbor Point in Cape May County clinging to one of the two kayaks when North Wildwood and Stone Harbor firefighters found the pair, the Stone Harbor Fire Department said. One kayak capsized and both people were clinging to the second kayak, officials said. The firefighters reached the kayakers by using wave runners.
