One woman died and two others were injured Tuesday night in a shooting during an argument in a parking lot on the city’s Westside, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

JSO said several people were in a parking lot just before midnight in the area of Labelle Street and Plymouth Street when an argument broke out and shots were fired.The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department took one of the women to a hospital where she died, JSO said. The other two victims drove themselves to the hospital and were expected to survive.
“We will continue to investigate and coordinate our efforts with our partners at the State Attorney’s Office and the Medical Examiner’s Office,” JSO added in a news release.
