An investigation is underway after two officers were stabbed by a suspect who was shot by police in southwest Houston Saturday morning, according to authorities.Investigators with the Houston Police Department said the incident happened at about 9:10 a.m. in the 13300 block of Agarita Lane near Milfoil Lane during a welfare check.
Houston police said at least one officer discharged their weapon while the male suspect reportedly stabbed two officers. Although details are limited, investigators said both police officers were transported to the Texas Medical Center at Memorial Hermann in stable condition. The suspect's condition is unknown.Editor's note: HPD investigators initially told Eyewitness News that the two officers were hospitalized due to gunshot wounds.
