) - Two students were among four people who suffered minor injuries following a crash involving a school bus and two cars this morning.The crash happened around 8 a.m. as the Escambia County school bus driven by a 71 year-old Pensacola man was stopped to pick up a student, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the bus was stopped in the southbound lane of County Road 95A just north of U.S. Highway 29 when the driver of a Buick Verano failed to stop for a second Buick Verano which had stopped for the school bus. The collision pushed the second car into the bus.Two students and the driver of one of the cars were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the other car also sustained minor injuries but declined transport to the hospital, the FHP said.
According to the troopers, the driver of one of the cars was a 20-year-old woman from Cantonment, Fla., and the other driver was a 22-year-old man, also of Cantonment.
