LUCENA CITY — Police anti-narcotics operatives arrested two brothers, both ex-drug convicts, in a buy-bust operation on Tuesday, in Lopez, Quezon.
Quezon police chief, Colonel Ledon Monte, said in a report Wednesday, March 29, that local drug enforcers collared Ray Aldrin Valeño, 39, and his elder brother Rex Adrian, 40, at around 11:30 p.m. after they sold shabu to a poseur buyer in Barangay Danlagan.The siblings, both identified drug pushers in the locality, yielded three sachets of meth with a street value of P18,360.
The police said the brothers were previously convicted on drug charges but did not state why and when they were freed.
