Rayant Vilorio, 20, and David Catherine, 21, both residents of Louisiana, are charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia, the agency said. Catherine is also charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. It was Tuesday when deputies conducted a traffic stop on a Dodge Charger and determined there was probable cause to search the vehicle. Some 1.63 pounds of marijuana and 10.5 pounds of THC edible products were found in the vehicle, the SRCSO said, as well as a 9mm handgun.
The confiscated THC edible products "look a lot like items that are intended for children," said the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office.The sheriff’s office stated: “The THC edible products that were taken into evidence look a lot like items that are intended for children. We urge all parents and guardians to be mindful of the product that their child is consuming. Please be mindful of the spelling and wording on the packaging as they are very similar to well-known products.
