RM Sotheby's is auctioning a 1952 Chrysler Styling Special by Ghia next month. The model is the original Chrysler Special and is based on a shortened New Yorker chassis. There’s no reserve, but the car is expected to fetch at least $500,000. Monterey Car Week is home to some of the most prestigious auctions in the country and they’re stepping up to the plate once again with a 1952 Chrysler Styling Special by Ghia.

They’re joined by a sizable grille, circular headlights, and a fastback roof. Other highlights include a hydraulically-controlled spare tire access door and a 40 gallon fuel tank with an “automatic filler cap.
