A 19-year-old man was taken to the hospital Monday evening after he was shot while sitting in his vehicle.
According to a preliminary report from SAPD, the shooting victim told officers that he was sitting in a vehicle when someone opened fire.
He was struck once and someone drove him to a downtown hospital. His injuries were not expected to be life-threatening.Police did not release any information about the shooter, or shooters. The shooting is under investigation.
