Cloudy with scattered snow showers today.
CLEVELAND, Ohio - A large scale area of low pressure is tracking through the area today. Temperatures today will be in the 35 to 40 degree range. We have scattered snow showers around for everybody. The wind direction is keeping most of the lake effect moisture out over the water this morning. The steering wind, however turns more to the northwest by this evening. We expect heavier lake effect rain and snow to develop along the lakeshore and east of Cleveland late this afternoon and tonight.
The system will be east of us by tomorrow morning. The air mass warms enough so that any snow or winter mix will change over to all rain. A strong northwest wind sets up for some towns. The winds could gust over 45 mph at times. Expect a cold and wet day tomorrow.
