Arctic air is forecast to remain in place the entire week.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Arctic air is forecast to remain in place the entire week. Disturbance tomorrow brings more snow to the area. The awful winter weather continues. Plenty of snow-covered roads still from the snowstorm.

We do have some lake-effect snow around. A trace to 3″ of additional snow is expected. Blustery west winds at 10-20 mph. High temperatures will be in the teens today. The wind will be increasing in advance of the next “clipper” front tonight. Southwest winds increase 15 to 25 mph. This will send wind chills into the 15 to 25 below range. Air temperatures 0 to 5 below zero. This is the most extreme cold we have seen this winter. Any lake-effect snow this evening will lift out over the Lake Erie.Extreme cold tomorrow morning with wind chills around 25 below in spots. Winds will be south to west and gust over 35 mph at times. Snow showers in the forecast with most getting 1″ or less of additional snowfall.
