Both were taken to a hospital, but the 18-year-old was pronounced dead. The 20-year-old was listed in stable condition. Investigators said two groups were involved in an argument in a parking lot after leaving a cantina. At some point, the dispute escalated when one person retrieved a firearm from a vehicle and began firing.
Witnesses told deputies there was a single shooter, and that person drove away from the scene.
