Car crashes on I-95 in Volusia County involving a dozen plus vehicles have caused shutdowns in both directions, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
At least 15 vehicles were involved in the ongoing collision, causing multiple crashes and 1 semitruck to catch fire.
Unknown people were taken to Halifax Health Hospital, including children, with one being airlifted to Arnold Palmer Hospital. The child is in stable condition. The crash did involve several semitrucks, and one of those drivers were killed along with the driver of a Jeep Wrangler on southbound.There have been numerous updates made by FHP Orlando since 3:39 a.m.
