Operatives of the Bulacan police collared five illegal drug peddlers, a notorious criminal gang leader, and 12 felons wanted for various criminal offenses in the province on Tuesday, Feb.21.

In a report submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, the arrested drug suspect was identified as Abelardo Batingan Alias “Abel,” 56, who is tagged as the Top 10 in the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency target list.

Recovered from the suspect were seven sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated worth of P40,800 and marked money. Operatives of CSJDM police arrested Vincent Delos Santos, the identified leader of the criminal gang “COPLAN SPROAT,” which is notorious for robberies and other illegal activities.
