Based in Liverpool ONE, the pink pop-up store opened in October 2019, near to John Lewis on Upper South John Street and remained there until Christmas Eve. The shop was home to iconic dolls, toys and other Barbie merchandise.
Inside its walls were filled with dolls from the brand, neon signs and even a Barbie truck for kids to play in and a box kids could climb into and pretend to be a Barbie doll. It was not just toys either, there was also a collection of Barbie clothing and accessories which could be bought.The new Barbie movie opened in cinemas across the UK today, July 21. Margot Robbie stars as the movie's titular character alongside Ryan Gosling as Ken in the film based on the world-famous Mattel doll.
The movie follows the pair as they face the reality of leaving Barbie Land and features a star-studded cast.
