A SWAT team surrounded a home on Grays Avenue following the shooting.
A 16-year-old was fatally shot in the head on Thursday morning in Southwest Philadelphia, according to police.The male teenager was shot two times in the head, police said. He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he died a short time later.
The view from Chopper 6 showed a ladder leading to a second-story residence near where the teen was shot.A SWAT team surrounded a home on the block following the shooting. Action News was there as officers made their way onto a roof and stormed through the front door.No arrests have been made at this time."I feel like the summer going to make it worse," said one resident.
