According to the sheriff’s office, there were a total of six teenagers in the home at the time, and no adults present. They were allegedly drinking, and at some point a gun was brought out.Investigators say the gun unintentionally went off a short time later, striking the 16-year-old in the chest. The sheriff’s office says the 17-year-old brother was the one handling the gun at the time.Authorities say the teens tried to provide first aid and called 911. Unfortunately, the boy died at the scene.
