16,000 people arrested for violating MCO since March 18

A TOTAL of 15,924 people have been arrested for violating the movement control order since it went into force on March 18, said Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob. Police arrested 1,174 people yesterday, 1,012 of whom were remanded and the rest released on police bond, the minister said today in a live telecast from Putrajaya.
