As revealed online ahead of filming, the Doctor and Ruby will take a trip to Regency-period England, where they will cross paths with a character played by Frozen and Mindhunter's Jonathan Groff. The duo is also set to take part in Beatlemania, as Gatwa and Gibson donned 60s-inspired costumes for an adventure that would take them to Abbey Road during the band's height of popularity, bringing them into contact with Jinkx Monsoons mysterious, seemingly music-themed villain. Even though only a small selection of Gatwa and Gibson's first season of Doctor Who adventures were teased during filming, there is still an incredible amount of excitement for the upcoming season. With Gatwa leaving audiences excited to see more of his work after his roles in Barbie and Sex Education, and the return of former showrunner Russell T Davies, both potential newcomers and existing viewers are eager to dive into Doctor Who's new era.
