Two rewards have been offered for information leading to the capture of a man wanted for shooting two Middle Tennessee officers last weekend.
John C. Drake continues to elude law enforcement following Saturday's shooting outside of a Dollar General store. There, two officers investigating a stolen car approached Drake, who is also the estranged son ofChief Christopher Moews expressed his thanks to the community and the efforts of first responders who cared for the wounded officers. He announced two different rewards for Drake's capture.
"I want to especially thank the men and women of the La Vergne Fire Department who responded and provided critical care to our officers during this incident," he said. "Without their response, the results could have been very different."
