Arcadia, N.Y. — Two motorcyclists were airlifted to the hospital after a crash in Wayne County early Thursday morning. Around 3 a.m., deputies responded to a motorcycle crash on Fairville Maple Ridge Road in Arcadia, where they found two people unresponsive. Investigators determined a 43-year-old man from Newark and a 44-year-old woman from Marion were riding on a motorcycle when they hit a deer, resulting in both being ejected from the bike.
The pair was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight with serious injuries, and both are listed in critical condition, according to deputies.
