Mewakili kumpulan itu, Ketua Umno Bahagian Wangsa Maju Mohd Shafie Abdullah berkata ketua-ketua bahagian itu turut bersepakat jawatan timbalan presiden juga tidak dipertandingkan. “Seramai 126 Ketua Umno Bahagian hadir malam ini meskipun ada lagi 14 tidak hadir kerana menghadiri Perhimpunan Agung UUmno 2022 , tetapi semua sepakat jawatan-jawatan tidak dipertandingkan.
