NEW DETAILS: 14-year-old boy shot in west Houston transported in critical condition, HPD says
Police said two men shot and robbed the teen around 8:15 p.m. at an apartment complex, located in the 2500 block of Tanglewilde Street on Friday night.
The teenager was transported to the hospital in critical condition, according to HPD. When investigators spoke to the teen, he said the robbers were trying to steal his shoes off his feet.Anyone with information surrounding the shooting is asked to call the Houston Police Department.Moriah Ballard joined the KPRC 2 digital team in the fall of 2021.
