The driver, a 14-year-old girl, and her front-seat passenger were rescued from the burning vehicle by officers, and both were taken to a hospital.One teen was killed and another two injured after a vehicle driven by a 14-year-old girl crashed into a traffic light pole and burst into flames in Encino.According to police, officers had spotted the Toyota Camry driving without its lights and attempted to conduct a traffic stop.
Moments later the vehicle was spotted a few blocks down, smoking as a result of a single-party crash.Three passengers were in the vehicle, all girls: the 14-year-old driver, an 18-year-old passenger and a 16-year-old in the backseat. Police approached the vehicle, and were able to extract the two front passengers by breaking the windows of the car.
