UVALDE, Texas -- Fourteen students and a teacher are dead after a shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, according to Gov. Greg Abbott."He shot and killed horrifically and incomprehensibly 14 students and killed a teacher," Abbott said during an unrelated press briefing.Texas Gov. Greg Abbott confirms at least 14 students at an elementary school were killed when a gunman gained entry on campus.
This photo shows 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, identified by law enforcement sources as the Robb Elementary School shooting suspect. University Health in San Antonio said it had two patients from the shooting incident -- a 66-year-old woman and a 10-year-old girl -- both in critical condition.The Children's Hospital of San Antonio said it has also received patients from the shooting.
"There is an active shooter at Robb Elementary," the school district said on Twitter."Law enforcement is on site. Your cooperation is needed at this time by not visiting the campus. As soon as more information is gathered it will be shared."
