The term "Imperial Remnant" was established in Star Wars Legends, and it's pretty self-explanatory. It was first referenced in canon in The Book of Boba Fett episode 5, and now it's been mentioned in the halls of Coruscant too.
9 Anakin Skywalker Recorded 20 Holovids For Ahsoka Ahsoka episode 7 features another Anakin Skywalker cameo of sorts, as Ahsoka trains in her lightsaber forms - to a holovid Anakin left her. He apparently recorded 20 holovids, with this being the last of them. It's a delight to see Hayden Christensen play the Clone Wars-era Anakin once again.
6 Grand Admiral Thrawn Reacts To The Name Anakin Skywalker Thrawn is somewhat shaken to realize Ahsoka trained under General Anakin Skywalker. Timothy Zahn's novel Thrawn: Alliances tells the story of Thrawn's first meeting with Anakin Skywalker, toward the tail end of the Clone Wars, some time before Thrawn was exiled into Imperial space by his own people. Thrawn's knowledge of Anakin was what earned him Palpatine's attention.
