The one-year-old child hospitalized in the Excelled Montessori crash has died. The baby’s mother confirmed that Mkaya Amrani passed away today in the hospital.
MKaya’s parents told us they want to make sure the necessary changes are made so that none of this happens again. It’s a thought that’s echoed by 22-year-old Alexia Rosale’s parents. Alexia, a teacher at the school, died when she was pinned under one of the cars that crashed into the school.“My daughter was so brave during her last seconds of life, trying to make sure the children would be okay,” said Berenice Rosales, mother of Alexia.
“She was always a very focused girl, focused on her goals and objectives. From a very early age, she wanted to be a teacher,” said Carlos.
