Texas Governor Greg Abbott has confirmed that 14 elementary school children and one teacher were killed in a mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.
"It is believed that he abandoned his vehicle then entered into the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde with a handgun and he may have also had a rifle," Abbott told the news media. "He shot and killed, horrifically and incomprehensibly, 14 students and killed a teacher.
” In the wake of the shooting – just a week after the horrific shooting in Buffalo, New York, by a white supremacist targeting a Black community – ire immediately erupted online over Texas’s gun laws.
